KVINT ("Divins, wines and beverages of Tiraspol") was founded in 1897 as a rectification warehouse in Tiraspol. Divin production began in 1938. Today the distillery manages ~2 000 ha of vineyards with 30+ grape varieties and stores 11 million litres of eaux-de-vie aged between 1 and 60 years. Annual output exceeds 20 million bottles across 30+ divin expressions (3 to 60 years). ISO 9001 certified since 2000, Kvint holds 10 Super Grand Prix trophies, 30 Grand Prix and 300+ gold and silver medals. In 2025, Divin Kvint 20 Years earned a Silver Medal at the London Spirits Competition (93 pts).

Is Kvint the same as cognac?
Technique mirrors cognac, but “cognac” is a protected French PDO. Moldova labels this grape spirit “divin”. Kvint is a benchmark producer within that category.
